1. Warranty Terms and Conditions for Ceramics Products – Tiles

1.1  Warranty Period

All ceramics products sold by INSIGNIA BD LTD. are warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one year from the date of purchase.

1.2  Covered Defects

This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship that cause the product to fail under normal use and service. This warranty does not cover damage caused by:

  • Improper installation.
  • Misuse or abuse.
  • Normal wear and tear.
  • Accidents or acts of God.

1.3  Exclusions

This warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused by chemicals or other harsh substances.
  • Damage caused by impact or other physical trauma.
  • Damage caused by natural disasters, such as floods or earthquakes.
  • Commercial use of the product.

1.4  How to Make a Warranty Claim

To make a warranty claim, you must contact INSIGNIA BD LTD. customer service number mentioned in the invoice or email us the invoice attached within 1 year of the date of purchase. You will need to provide proof of purchase and a description of the defect. INSIGNIA BD LTD. will then inspect the product to determine whether it is covered under the warranty. If it is, INSIGNIA BD LTD. will repair or replace the product at no cost to you. If not, there will be no repair or replacement.

1.5  Limitations

This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser of the product. INSIGNIA BD LTD. sole liability under this warranty is to repair or replace defective products. INSIGNIA BD LTD. is not liable for any other damages, including consequential or incidental damages.

2. Warranty Terms and Conditions – Commode, Basin, and Urinals

In addition to the general terms and conditions set forth above, the following specific terms and conditions apply to commode, basin, and urinal products:

  • Commode warranties typically cover the porcelain bowl, seat, and lid.
  • Basin warranties typically cover the porcelain bowl, faucet, and drain.
  • Urinal warranties typically cover the porcelain bowl, flush valve, and strainer.
  • Warranty is usually a period of one (1) year to (2) years against defects in materials and workmanship.

3. Specific Warranty Terms and Conditions for Faucet Products

In addition to the general terms and conditions set forth above, the following specific terms and conditions apply to faucet products:

  • Faucet warranties typically cover the faucet body, spout, handle, and cartridge.
  • Faucet finishes are typically warranted for a period of one (1) to five (5) years against defects in materials and workmanship.

4. General Invoice Terms and Conditions for Payment and Bookings

The following terms are to be edited and/or added to all current quotations and invoices (Wherever relevant or necessary):

  • Include price validity of only 7 days.
  • The Dollar Exchange rate impact is to be borne by the customer.
  • Delivery will be placed after receipt of the agreed advance.
  • Advance is a minimum of 70% of all orders.
  • Delivery timeline for pre-orders is 45 to 90 days (depending on tiles or sanitaryware and on quantity)
  • Delivery charges included.
  • VAT/TAX charges included.
